Terms of Use

Effective October 5, 2026

Privacy PolicyTerms of UseCommunity Guidelines
The short version
  • Accounts are free and for adults 18 and older.
  • You own what you post. You give TCC permission to show it on the site, and that permission ends when you delete it.
  • Platform profiles come from published terms on the date shown. Check them before you decide anything.
  • TCC isn’t affiliated with any platform listed, and nothing here is legal, tax, or financial advice.
  • These terms follow Kentucky law.

1. Agreeing to these terms

Teacher Creator Collective (“TCC,” “we,” “us”) is operated by The Doering Institute LLC, doing business as Teacher Creator Collective. By creating an account or using teachercreatorcollective.com, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Community Guidelines, and the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

2. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Accounts are free. If we ever add paid features, we’ll post their terms before charging anything.
  • Have one account per person, and keep your information accurate. You can post under your name or your store name.
  • You sign in with links sent to your email, so keep your email account secure. You’re responsible for activity on your TCC account.
  • If you work for, own, or invest in a platform, or sell paid services to sellers, say so on your account and post under your real name. Your posts will be labeled.

3. What you post

You keep ownership of everything you post. You give TCC a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, display, and share it on the site and in TCC updates, such as digests and Seller Pulse summaries, and to make formatting changes needed to show it. That permission ends when you delete your content, except:

  • where others have already quoted it in their own posts,
  • for copies in backups until they’re overwritten, and
  • for combined totals that don’t identify you.

You confirm that you have the right to post what you share. Don’t post information about students, other people’s private information, confidential information you’re not allowed to share, or anyone else’s paid resources or files.

4. Platform profiles and other information

  • Profiles marked “Researched by TCC” come from each platform’s own published pages on the date shown. Fees and terms change, so check the linked sources before you decide anything.
  • Profiles marked “Self-reported by platform” are written by the platform. We review them for completeness, not accuracy.
  • Seller Pulse results describe what survey respondents told us. They aren’t a forecast.
  • Nothing on TCC is legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your situation.

If you see an error on a profile, use “Report a correction” on that profile or email us, and we’ll check it against the source.

5. Independence and disclosures

  • TCC isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by, or paid by any platform listed. Platform names and logos belong to their owners.
  • Platforms can’t pay to be listed or to change how they’re shown.
  • If TCC opens its own marketplace or sells resources, it will be listed on the Platforms page, held to the same Seller Charter, and labeled as run by TCC.
  • Moderators and team members disclose any platform or service affiliation, and they don’t review applications from platforms or providers they’re connected to.

6. Platforms that apply to be listed

If you apply for a platform, you confirm you’re authorized to speak for it and that your answers are accurate. We may approve, decline, or remove a listing, and we may ask for more information. Approved answers appear as written and are labeled as self-reported.

7. Services lists

The Services lists collect interest only. Nothing is booked or sold through TCC yet. TCC isn’t a party to any agreement between you and a service provider, and we don’t guarantee anyone’s work. Never share your TPT or other platform password with anyone.

8. Volunteers and moderation

Moderators are volunteers who apply the Community Guidelines. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or the guidelines. Posts aren’t removed for disagreeing with TCC or criticizing a platform. If you think we got a decision wrong, email us.

9. Support payments

Support payments are voluntary. They help cover hosting, email, tools, and backend support for the Collective, and they don’t buy goods, services, or extra access. They are not tax-deductible. If you paid by mistake, email us and we’ll work it out.

10. Things you can’t do

  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
  • Post spam, or promote your own store, products, or services. Service providers apply through the Services page instead.
  • Share someone else’s private information.
  • Post anything illegal or that infringes someone’s copyright or trademark.
  • Scrape the site, collect members’ information, or use automated tools to post or vote.
  • Try to break into, overload, or get around the site’s security.

11. Copyright complaints

If you believe something on TCC infringes your copyright, email us with a link to it, a description of your work, your contact information, and a statement that you own the work or are authorized to act for the owner. We’ll review it and remove infringing content.

12. Ideas and feedback

If you suggest features or improvements, we may use them without owing you anything. Roadmap suggestions are public once approved.

13. Ending your account

You can close your account anytime by emailing us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections 3 (for content still shown), 4, 5, 14, 15, and 16 continue after an account closes.

14. Disclaimers

TCC is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep information accurate and the site running, but we don’t promise the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or current at every moment.

Information about other platforms, including profiles, charter ratings, fees, terms, ratings, and member posts, is for general information only. It may contain errors or be out of date, and platforms can change their terms at any time. It isn’t legal, tax, or financial advice, and it isn’t an endorsement. Before you sign up for, list on, or move to any platform, check its current terms and confirm the details with the platform directly. You’re responsible for your own decisions about where and how to sell.

15. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, TCC and its operator aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost sales or profits, from using the site or relying on its information. Because accounts are free, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid TCC in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

16. Kentucky law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky. Before filing anything, please email us so we can try to resolve it.

17. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. For changes that affect your rights, we’ll email members before they take effect. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms.
