Effective October 5, 2026
The short version- Criticism of platforms, including TPT, is welcome. Harassment of people is not.
- No self-promotion for now. Offering a service? Apply on the Services page so it can be vetted.
- Anyone affiliated with a platform says so, and their posts are labeled.
- One account per person. Post under your name or your store name.
- Posts come down for harassment, spam, or sharing private information. Never for disagreeing.
Talk about platforms, not people
Say what a platform did, what it costs, and how it affected your store. Name-calling, threats, and personal attacks on anyone, including platform staff and other members, come down.
Share what you know, and how you know it
When you share fees, terms, or sales results, say where they came from. “I read it in their terms” and “this happened in my store” are both useful. Rumors stated as facts are not.
No self-promotion, for now
Please don’t promote your own store, products, or services anywhere on the site while we put a fair vetting process in place. If you offer a service to sellers, apply on the Services page so it can be reviewed. A link to an outside resource is fine when it answers someone’s question, as long as it isn’t your own store or service.
Disclose affiliations
If you work for, own, invest in, or are paid by a platform or a seller service, add it to your account and use your real name. Your posts are labeled so members can weigh your advice.
Protect privacy
- Never post information that identifies students.
- Don’t share another person’s email, address, sales figures, or private messages without their permission.
- Don’t share anyone’s paid resources or files.
Use one real account
One account per person. You can post under your name or your store name. Platform staff and paid service providers use their real name. No sock puppets, vote swapping, or automated voting.
How moderation works
- Anyone can report a post or reply. A moderator reviews every report.
- Posts are removed for harassment, spam, private information, infringement, or breaking the law. Never for disagreeing with TCC or criticizing a platform.
- Repeated or serious violations can lead to a suspended account.
- Moderators are volunteer sellers. They step aside from decisions involving a platform or service they’re connected to.
- If you think a decision was wrong, email hello@teachercreatorcollective.com and someone not involved will review it.
